Cedar Point, Croatan Nat Forest

Today was a busy day of work. On the bright side, my makeshift desk has a bunch of clam-like shells strewn about it. I worked 9 to 6:30 and didn’t leave the camper except for a short walk around the campground. The sun set at about 5:30, but it was cloudy and drizzled all day anyway. By evening it was close to 60 and a bit humid.

At 7:30 I went to Lowe’s again and finally found the right part for the propane connection. It took 5 minutes to put it together again. The heat and stove and hot water are back on. Sometime this week I need to rewire an electrical switch I screwed up.

I might try to watch TV tonight; I haven’t since I left. I was spending far too much time on Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, etc. ad infinitum, before I left. Between my phone time and streaming time I was entertaining myself to death. I canceled all my services except Amazon. The camper antenna picks up PBS and a few other channels. There’s an owl hooting outside. It’s nice. So far I’ve only seen birds here, but that’s better than suicidal deer.
